Role overview

Location: UK wide travel - Midlands Hub.

Salary: Competitive DOE + Car allowance

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 08.00 - 1700

Contract Type: Permanent

Role Overview:

To effectively manage a portfolio of business, ensure high quality service standards and delivery. Manage and deliver agreed sales, performance, KPI’s and profit targets. Ensure compliance with the agreement between EMCOR UK and the client. Manage resources and promote an ethos of teamwork and to instil a culture of continuous improvement. To offer support and guidance to ensure that workflow is delivered effectively and to develop the team so that they can achieve their full potential. To develop a relationship with both client and customer built on trust and transparency in addition to contributing to the development and success of EMCOR UK in line with the contract governance framework.

What you'll do:

Service Delivery & Risk Management

1. Effectively co-ordinate service delivery across the contract.

2. Identify, manage, and escalate perceived risks, implementing mitigation actions where necessary.

3. Ensure service delivery aligns with contractual commitments and client expectations.

4. Maintain high customer satisfaction through high-quality, proactive service.

Deputising & Strategic Support

5. Deputise for the Account Manager as required.

6. Support challenging growth plans through continuous enterprising and strategic management.

7. Provide innovation, vision, leadership, and best practice solutions across client sites.

Financial & P&L Management

8. Support Account Manager in monitoring contract P&L and reporting financial exceptions.

9. Ensure the team understands financial responsibilities and meets EMCOR UK and client budgets.

10. Report and address any deviations from budget.

Supply Chain & Procurement

11. Ensure value for money through robust supplier management and performance measurement.

12. Oversee procurement activity in strict compliance with company procedures.

13. Benchmark and implement best practice across the portfolio.

Operational & Asset Management

14. Oversee delivery of service and maintenance of all contract assets.

15. Manage internal and external service delivery teams, ensuring quality and continuous improvement.

16. Carry out regular site visits and inspections to ensure Method of Statement (MOS) adherence.

17. Implement mobilisation and demobilisation plans in line with contract changes.


Compliance & Standards

18. Ensure strict adherence to corporate policies, IMS, H&S, ISO14001, and legislative requirements.

19. Monitor and ensure environmental, health, and safety compliance in conjunction with the EHS Manager.

20. Provide regular performance, safety, and compliance reports as required.


Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement

21. Evaluate operational data monthly and implement documented action plans for out-of-line performance.

22. Identify and implement operational improvements to meet continuous improvement goals.

23. Maintain awareness of industry best practice through networking and research.

24. Develop, mentor, coach, and appraise team members to meet personal and business objectives.
25. Provide clear operational direction and encourage a “One Team” ethos.

26. Communicate regularly with staff on contract performance and corrective actions.

27. Agree, review, and appraise individual performance objectives annually.
