Position: Quantity Surveyor
Salary: up to £70,000
Package: Car allowance (dependent upon level), 5% pension, 25 days holiday and private healthcare.

This main contractor is a multi-disciplinary construction company that is very well established and deliver a broad range of projects across the UK. Projects typically range in value from £7 - £30 million with a repeat client base and are delivered on a design & build basis.
Due to several contract awards in the Kent region the need to increase their commercial function in the area.
The Quantity Surveyor role:
Managing commercial activities on a range of construction projects.
Procurement and placing subcontractor orders.
Pricing variations, preparation of valuations, negotiating and ongoing final accounting for contractor and client accounts.
Cash flows and cost reporting.
Project based working closely with the construction team.
About you:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor or residential developer.
Qualified to a HNC or above level.
Strong commercial, negotiation and reporting skills.
