EstimatorSheffieldA well-established specialist civil and structural engineering construction company is seeking an Estimator to join its growing team in Sheffield.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator to play a key role in securing a diverse range of projects, working closely with clients, suppliers and internal departments from initial enquiry through to tender submission.
The Role:
* Preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions
* Reviewing drawings, specifications and project documentation
* Obtaining and evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations
* Producing bills of quantities and take-offs
* Identifying project risks and value engineering opportunities
* Liaising with clients and internal teams throughout the tender process
* Supporting handovers to project delivery teams following contract award
The Candidate:
* Previous experience in an Estimator position within construction, civil engineering, structural steelwork, manufacturing or a related sector
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
