Our client is a well-established UK energy engineering business who specialise in the design, installation and long-term maintenance of commercial and industrial HVAC systems. They are currently recruiting for an experienced Heating Engineer/Pipefitter to support a number of commercial and industrial projects on a full-time permanent basis.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Installation and replacement of commercial and industrial heating systems including boilers, pumps, pressurisation units, chillers and associated pipework
* Plant room installation and refurbishment works
* Mechanical installation of HVAC plant and associated pipework
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
* Ensuring installations meet industry regulations, safety standards and compliance requirements
* Working collaboratively with engineers, project managers and site teams
* Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site safety
Essential requirements:
* Proven experience working on commercial or industrial heating / mechanical installations
* Strong knowledge of plant room equipment and commercial pipework systems
* Experience installing equipment such as boilers, pumps, pressurisation systems and HVAC plant
* Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
* Good understanding of health and safety and site compliance
* CSCS card
* Full UK driving licence
* Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required
