Job Description – Regional Marketing Director (Europe)

Responsibilities
* Develop customer and prospective customer relationships; including collation and analysis of individual customer data, understand customer needs/satisfaction to inform product and service marketing activity and future product and service developments.
* Provide region specific understanding and knowledge, leveraging support from the market assessment team to guide both the Customer Regional Team and the wider business in developing regional marketing strategies and maximising sales and revenue opportunities.
* Establish and execute a marketing communications plan, including management of associated budgets to positively influence customers and create demand for Rolls-Royce products and services.
* Lead and coordinate the Rolls-Royce Civil Aerospace presence at regional external events including airshows, conferences, symposiums, defining objectives and key messages while representing Rolls-Royce.
* Develop Airframer regional marketing contacts and relationships to coordinate joint marketing activity for potential customers in region.
* Support active sales campaigns by managing the flow of product and services data to potential customers, including preparation and provision of RFP responses, and communicating the Rolls-Royce value proposition against competitors.
* Deliver impactful presentations and customer engagement activities to small, medium and large audiences, effectively communicating complex commercial and operational propositions.
Qualifications
* MSc in Air Transport Management (Cranfield University) highly desirable.
* Relevant Engineering qualifications desirable.
Preferred Requirements
* Minimum 5 years experience in a management role within the aviation sector.
* Strong commercial awareness and airline industry awareness with keen understanding of the civil aviation market and needs with respect to Rolls-Royce products and services.
* Analytical skills and capabilities to understand and interpret Civil Aerospace market and Operator data to inform the business.
* Experience presenting and pitching to medium and large audiences.
* Demonstrated ability to build relationships, collaborate, and influence across complex stakeholder environments, both internally and externally.
* Highly autonomous and agile working style, with ability to operate effectively in a dynamic regional environment.
* Experience coordinating industry events, conferences or airshows.
* Membership of recognised Marketing Institution (e.g. Chartered Institute of Marketing).
