We are seeking an experienced and fully certified telehandler driver for a temporary holiday cover role on a busy new build housing site in South Otterington. This is a crucial position to maintain site operations efficiently during a key period.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operating the telehandler on site, moving materials (pallets, bricks, timber, etc.) to designated areas and around the site layout.
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
Performing daily pre-start checks, including fluid levels and safety checks, and reporting any defects immediately.
Working closely with the site management and trade teams to meet operational requirements.
Strictly adhering to all site health & safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
CPCS or NPORS telehandler certification is mandatory.
A valid CSCS Card is essential.
Proven experience operating a telescopic handler on a busy residential or commercial construction site.
Excellent understanding of safe working practices and load stability.
Reliability, punctuality, and good communication skills are a must.
Must have your own suitable PPE.
Full UK driving licence.
