Summary
Working independently on a varied range of tasks which may require some analysis and judgement, including coordinating, monitoring and organising administrative/clerical or financial systems and procedures for the school. The role may involve providing support and guidance to other staff, handling correspondence and enquiries, and managing administrative or financial activities.

Working Hours and Pay
This position is part-time and term‑time only. The salary quoted is for full‑time equivalent; if successful, the salary will be paid on a pro‑rata basis.

Responsibilities
* Work within school policies and procedures.
* Contribute to the effective running of the school site.
* Support the promotion of positive relationships with parents and outside agencies.
* Attend skill training and participate in personal/performance development as required.
* Take care for own and others’ health and safety.
* Be aware of the confidential nature of issues.
* Support the running and effectiveness of systems that contribute to Finance, HR and site management, and the effective running of the Admin team.
* Support with medical administration, playground duty and the transition of pupils to and from the learning environment.
* Support tasks that may involve travel to/from the school’s off‑site provision.

Essential Qualifications
* Good standard of education including English and Maths (GCSE grade C/4 or equivalent).
* Relevant administrative or business support qualification or equivalent experience.
* Willingness to undertake further training and development.
Desirable Qualifications
* Qualification in business administration, finance or education support.
* First Aid qualification or willingness to train.
Essential Experience
* Experience of working in an administrative or clerical role.
* Experience of working in a busy office environment with competing priorities.
* Experience of dealing with enquiries and providing frontline customer service.
* Experience of maintaining accurate records (manual and/or electronic).
Desirable Experience
* Experience of handling financial processes (e.g. monitoring expenditure, reconciling accounts).
* Experience working in a school or educational setting.
* Experience using school management systems or financial software.
* Experience of contributing to reports or management information.
