About You
What qualities does an Aqua Instructor need to join Virgin Active?
1. You have at least an NVQ Level 2 in Fitness or Aqua and an Aqua instructor qualification.
2. You can coach and motivate our members in your Aqua classes.
3. You achieve agreed targets for class occupancy and instructor ratings from our members.
4. You ensure our members are safe at all times and hold your own public liability insurance of at least £2 million.
5. You regularly check in with the club team and keep up to date with class policies and instructor procedures.
6. You love people and can promote a culture where the group fitness class community becomes raving fans of Virgin Active.
7. You take constructive feedback from club staff positively and are always eager to learn and improve, inspiring people while having fun and doing the right thing.
8. When teaching in a Virgin Active club, you will support the team, be authentic, and work hard. Most importantly, you dream big.
