Relief Retail Security Officer
Location: West Quay Shopping Centre, Southampton.
Pay Rate: £13.70 per hour on a flexible rota covering days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
Job Responsibilities
- You will take a lead role on site as required.
- Conduct patrols outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Provide a welcoming attitude to clients and customers, demonstrating vigilance and approachability.
- Maintain situational awareness of local surroundings.
- Identify and stop suspicious activity or potential criminal acts, maintaining control until emergency services arrive.
- Report sightings, arrests and incidents to the Security Shift Manager, recording, reporting and escalating as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Holds a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
- Team player with an enthusiastic attitude.
- Capable of working independently and on own initiative.
- Flexible approach to work to suit business needs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Calm under pressure.
