About the Role and Key Responsibilities
As an MFL German Teacher working with TailorEDucation, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality German language lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This is a full-time, long-term supply position (5 days per week) starting after the February half term.
Based in a secondary school in the Dartford area, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, well-structured German lessons that develop students’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. You will foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promote a love of languages, and support pupils in achieving strong academic outcomes, including preparation for GCSE examinations.
Professionalism, strong subject knowledge, and a passion for language learning are essential for success in this role.

The Ideal Candidate Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is a requirement
• Experience teaching German within a UK secondary school setting
• Proven ability to deliver German to KS3 and KS4, including GCSE preparation
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• A passion for languages and supporting the progress and wellbeing of all learners
• Availability to commit to a full-time, long-term role (5 days per week) starting after February half term
