About the Role As a Hire and Sales Coordinator, you’ll be the first point of contact for many of our customers, helping them find the right solutions quickly and efficiently. Your day-to-day will include: Liaising with customers via phone and email Taking full ownership of customer enquiries from start to finish Processing hire and sales orders accurately Working closely with depots, drivers, and operational teams to fulfil requests Identifying opportunities to maximise sales and grow accounts Delivering a consistently high standard of customer service Supporting your team in delivering Speedy’s ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver No two days are the same – it’s a fast-paced, varied role where teamwork and communication are key. What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone positive, proactive, and passionate about customer service. You’ll ideally have: A strong customer focus and the ability to build rapport across multiple channels Confidence juggling multiple tasks and prioritising effectively Initiative and good decision-making skills A collaborative, team-oriented approach A drive to grow the business and spot opportunities Previous experience in customer service, hire, sales support, or coordination roles (beneficial but not essential) Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who cares about doing a great job and enjoys helping customers.
