Accounts Senior / Accounts Assistant Manager Stevenage £45,000 - £50,000 Accountancy practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are partnering with highly regarded firm of chartered accountants in Stevenage, who are seeking an experienced Accounts Senior or Accounts Assistant Manager to join their team. As an Accounts Senior / Accounts Assistant Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients which will consist of a wide range of non-audit clients, largely OMB’s, from start-ups to large companies with annual turnover of up to the audit threshold. You will be the primary point of contact for your clients, ensuring all work is completed accurately and efficiently. In addition to client management, you will oversee and assist in the development of junior staff, providing necessary support and reviewing their work. You’ll be involved in the provision of a range of services to your clients including the preparation and review of year-end stat accounts, management accounts, overseeing bookkeeping / VAT, and forecasts. The ideal candidate will be ACCA/ACA Qualified with strong and varied general practice experience. Excellent communication skills are essential to build and maintain successful relationships with multiple clients. Managing your own billing, workload, and that of the team efficiently to exceed client expectations. Reviewing the work of junior staff, providing guidance and support as required.
