Job Title: Sexual Violence Support Worker (Specialist Women's Service) Location: Swansea £13.00 per hour | 4 days per week | Temporary until March 2026 |28 hours per week Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of women who have experienced exploitation, abuse, or violence? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join a specialist service that empowers women to make positive changes and move forward with independence and dignity. What you'll be doing: Providing emotional and practical support to women affected by exploitation, domestic abuse, and/or human trafficking. Undertaking risk assessments and developing tailored support plans. Advocating for women to access vital services such as healthcare, housing, and legal advice. Working in partnership with multi-agency teams to ensure a holistic approach to support and safeguarding. Delivering both 1:1 and group support sessions to promote independence, resilience, and empowerment. Contributing to outreach work, including engaging with women in the community and supporting access to safer alternatives. About you: At least 1 year's experience working with vulnerable people in a support role (paid or voluntary). Knowledge of safeguarding and the risks surrounding exploitation. Ability to build trust quickly, with strong communication and advocacy skills. Organised, proactive, and confident managing a caseload. A driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes. Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends if required. What we offer: £13.00 per hour, 4 days per week, 28 hours per week (7 hours per day, between 9am and 4.30pm).
