A leading engineering contractor require a proven mechanical engineer to join their site based team delivering mechanical projects.
The Role
* Review and comment on construction P&ID’s, piping isometrics and GA’s.
* Understanding of industry standards and client specifications to ensure compliance.
* Review 3-D models of process plant/storage tanks for clash detection and constructability
* Assess and determine offsite fabrication strategy and sequence, in conjunction with fabrication team.
* Generate installation ITP & QA documentation in conjunction with QA manager.
* Oversee site installation, hydrotesting and commissioning in conjunction with construction manager.
* Generate system handover sequence, ITR’s and handover documentation in conjunction with commissioning team and QA manager.
* Familiar with data management systems such as Aconex
* Compliance with contractual obligations during design and construction
* Monitoring and control of budgets as required by the project manager
* Coordination of civil/mechanical interfaces during process plant design & construction
Skills & Experience Required
* Experience in Design, constructability and review
* Fabrication andinstallation,commissioning of process piping systems.
