Senior Business Development Manager

Software Sales - Logistics

Up to £90,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus

Remote with UK Travel

Are you an experienced Business Development Manager with experience in selling Logistics Software Sales? Our client is a global Logistics and Supply Chain Software Solution provider. This role involves developing and converting a sales pipeline and being accountable for individual sales reporting. The Senior Business Development Manager will support sales initiatives and collaborate across the business to convert significant opportunities with corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities:

* Leadership
o Sales Growth: Develop a new business sales pipeline aligned with the brand's sales KPIs for growth, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting of sales activities.
o Strategic projects/bids: Coordinate strategic bid responses.
o Key/global accounts: Collaborate across the division to maximize upsell and cross-sell opportunities with key clients. Take sales leadership responsibilities as appropriate for customers with significant potential.
o Culture Building: Promote a motivated sales culture that values success, inclusivity, and professional growth.

Client relationship management

* Client-centricity: Build strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs, and presenting tailored solutions.
* Source and Selection: Generate sales-qualified leads from own activity and network to meet KPIs.

Business Partnership

* Communication: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Sales Analysts to align strategies and operational capabilities.
* Deal focus: Support the identification and execution of new business opportunities to drive revenue.
* Sales Pipeline Management: Oversee your sales pipeline for accurate reporting and forecasting.
* Lead generation: Collaborate with Marketing to generate leads.
* Data-driven: Develop and monitor KPIs for the sales team, using insights to improve strategies.

Experience

* Previous experience in a Business Development Manager role.
* Experience in Logistics and Supply Chain Software Sales.
