What you will do
* Assess and support prospective adoptive families throughout the adoption process
* Collaborate with other social workers and agencies to ensure the welfare of children
* Conduct home visits and evaluations to determine the suitability of families
* Provide guidance and support to adoptive families and children
* Prepare detailed reports and documentation to facilitate the adoption process
* Participate in training and professional development opportunities
Requirements of the Social Worker
You will hold a degree or equivalent qualification in social work, along with a current registration with Social Work England. Your substantial frontline experience within UK Social Services as a qualified Social Worker will be invaluable in this role.
