ESG Leader
Kingswinford, UK ( Monthly travel to Europe required)
Salary: Up to A GBP 45,000 + 10 Bonus
An established, international manufacturing group is seeking an experienced Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Leader to develop, implement and oversee ESG strategy, policies, accreditations and reporting across multiple European sites. The organisation supplies precision:engineered components into highly regulated sectors including automotive, medical and industrial. They are committed to driving sustainable operations, strong governance, and continuous improvement throughout the business.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated ESG professional with proven EcoVadis reporting experience to shape and enhance Group:wide sustainability performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead customer engagement and account management relating to ESG disclosure, sustainability programmes, reporting, and research.
* Oversee site Health and Safety governance, including reporting and H and S meeting coordination.
* Manage external ESG reporting and disclosure activities across the Group.
* Support the Commercial team with ESG and sustainability advisory services as required.
* Develop guidelines, checklists, policies and procedures aligned with recognised ESG frameworks.
* Produce narrative content for sustainability reports, trend analyses and communications for General Managers and the Board.
* Provide guidance on the professional design and layout of ESG reports.
* Build relationships with clients and ESG:related service providers (e.g., Carbon Footprint Management, HSE, CBAM).
Skills and Experience
* Strong understanding of ESG reporting standards, disclosure requirements, environmental/carbon metrics and H and S protocols.
* Proven ability to prepare ESG reports and submissions for rating agencies : EcoVadis experience essential.
* Skilled in ESG data collection, analysis and reporting, with excellent attention to detail and high:quality output.
* Commercially aware with strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder:management skills.
* Degree in a relevant field with experience in sustainability/ESG leadership or consulting experience, including assurance or improving ESG internal controls.
* Self:starter with strong organisational ability and a proactive, analytical approach.
* Willing and able to travel monthly to Slovakia (up to 50 as required).
