The Business Studies department is well-established and thriving, and from September 2025, the school is seeking a dynamic Business Studies Teacher to join the team. This is a full-time role until the end of the academic year, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The Role
As a Business Studies Teacher, you’ll empower students across Key Stages 4 and 5 to explore the world of business, finance, marketing, and enterprise. With excellent resources and collaborative colleagues, you’ll play a vital role in preparing learners for future study and careers in an ever-changing global economy.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons across KS4 and KS5
Inspire students to think critically, problem-solve, and develop entrepreneurial skills
Adapt lessons to support and challenge learners of all abilities
Make business theory relevant through real-life examples and case studies
Contribute to extracurricular activities such as enterprise projects or business clubs
What We’re Looking For
QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification)
Specialism or strong background in Business Studies (Economics or related fields also welcomed)
A passion for inspiring young people to succeed in business and enterprise
Strong classroom management, communication, and organisational skills
A commitment to bringing out the very best in every student
