We are currently recruiting for a Fundraising Manager to manage the day to day fundraising activities. Job Purpose The Fundraising Manager will be responsible for all things fundraising. Building relationships with individuals and corporate supporters will be a key focus of the role, as well as making applications to trusts and foundations to secure grant funding. You will also hold responsibility for other income streams as well as explore new opportunities to generate income for the charity, and working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, you will contribute towards a fundraising strategy to ensure sustainability. Our current income is around £700,000, estimate to rise to around £850,000 in the next three years. Working with other team members and volunteers, you will manage our funding pipeline, produce a range of applications (you will make applications between £1,000-£75,000) – whether multi-year grants or project specific requests – and help to capture and report REACH’s impact for the benefit of funders. You will work closely with the CEO and Deputy CEO in identifying fundraising targets for the organisation and with the wider REACH team to ensure outcomes are appropriately measured and communicated. Line Management Responsibilities Fundraising Assistant Volunteers Key Duties and Responsibilities Fundraising Strategy Managing REACH’s various fundraising pipelines Working with Deputy CEO to determine project and organisation fundraising targets Helping establish a new fundraising strategy, in collaboration with the CEO, Deputy CEO, Executive Assistant and the Communications Team, and overseeing its implementation. Stay well informed of existing and new fundraising legislation including UK GDPR requirements Stewardship Maintaining and growing existing relationships with trusts/foundations and individuals Identifying and developing new relationships with potential funders and supporters Overseeing recognitions and thanks to donors and supporters Fundraising applications Researching, identifying, and building relationships with potential funders, foundations and trusts to feed into the prospective pipeline Developing new bids and cases for support Managing the lifecycle of fundraising applications and working with the Executive Assistant ensure that our current funding database is kept up to date Overseeing the production of and writing fundraising applications Ensuring all applications are in line with existing project plans and requirements Impact Working together with the wider REACH team to ensure implementation of appropriate impact measures Overseeing collation of impact data across and within projects Ensuring reports to funders are completed in a timely manner Team Management Line management of the Fundraising Assistant(s) Work management of fundraising volunteers Anything else within their remit that meets the need of Reach Community Projects
