Service Coordinator (Technical) – Heavy Plant – Brownhills
We are a leading UK dealership specializing in heavy plant and are looking for a Service Coordinator to manage end‑to‑end servicing and repair activities, ensuring efficient operation of engineering resources and maintaining high service standards.
Location: Brownhills.
Salary: GBP 32,000 – GBP 38,500 DOE + benefits.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate engineer diaries, materials, labour and other resources for efficient completion of jobs.
* Quote for additional repairs identified.
* Ensure compliance with all processes and dealer operating standards.
* Adhere to timeframes and technical information, closing all jobs in a timely manner.
* Strive to meet relevant KPIs.
* Work one Saturday morning every four, with time off in lieu.
Qualifications
* Technical understanding within the heavy plant industry is essential.
* Excellent customer service skills, both over the phone and email.
* Understanding of mechanical terminology and ability to read and interpret technical reports.
* Strong IT skills.
* Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with conflicting priorities.
* Ability to manage resources through planning and coordinating.
