We are passionate about developing new technologies to innovate and inspire changes in a growing marketplace. We are seeking a Lead Research Scientist in the Biopolymers Team at our Ditton site in Widnes, Cheshire. This role involves developing innovative, sustainable products for Consumer Care and Life Sciences, including devising experiments for synthesizing carbohydrate- and protein-based products and leading process scale-up.

What You’ll Be Doing:

* Suggest ideas for new products
* Develop R&D pipelines for structured projects
* Plan and execute lab experiments for carbohydrate and protein-based reactions
* Develop processes for large-scale manufacturing
* Oversee pilot and production trials
