Estates General Assistant We welcome applications for this post to commence January 2026. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include: Routine basic maintenance of the college grounds and Multi Use Games Area (MUGA), including cleaning, litter picking, pruning, strimming, mowing, weeding, leaf blowing and watering To operate and carry out basic maintenance checks of grounds maintenance machinery and equipment in line with Health & Safety regulations before use Provide porterage duties across college, delivering parcels, paper and exam papers. Supervise short contractor visits and issue keys where applicable. Assist with event set ups, including exam set up and take down, Open Days, Taster Days and Consultation Days. General maintenance of the Sports Pavilion, including cleaning and low level maintenance Clean outdoor areas around college, including but not limited to, the canopy, parasols and outdoor furniture and surfaces. Salary: The post will be paid on the Sixth Form Colleges’ Support Staff Pay Spine at points 6 to 8 - pro rata to £25,949 to £26,343 per annum.
