Pharmacy Dispenser - High Wycombe Loudwater Superstore at Tesco. Our Pharmacy Dispenser rate of pay starts from £12.87 an hour; this increases to £14.08 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
It’s our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you’d like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you.

Availability & Hours
The table shows the periods of time in the week we’d like you to be available to work – the availability windows. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you’ll have 3 weeks’ notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We are happy to support flexibility; if the times you’re available to work match closely but not exactly to the times advertised, we’d still love to hear from you.
Availability Window: Sun 10:00:00 – 14:15:00; Thu 10:30:00 – 17:30:00; Fri 10:30:00 – 16:30:00.
Responsibilities
* Supporting the operation of one of our new modern Pharmacies.
* Applying your technical skills and strong customer focus to accurately dispense medication for our customers.
* Dispensing prescription medicines, ensuring attention to detail and accuracy at all times.
* Talking to customers and offering information in a confident, friendly and professional manner, providing great service.
* Offering information to customers on common ailments, symptoms and products.
* Understanding customers’ needs and explaining the benefits of products in an understandable way; selling only what is right for the customer.
* Advising customers on the range of Pharmacy services available.
* Supporting and delivering Pharmacy services and the dispensing process according to Standard Operating Procedures.
* Assessing the legal appropriateness of dispensed prescriptions and dealing with clinical and legal queries from Healthcare practitioners within area of competence.
* Responding to customer queries regarding prescription medicines and informing the Pharmacist of any complaints.
* Ensuring all dispensary routines and procedures are followed; keeping dispensary and consulting rooms clean and organized.
* Ensuring all prescription administration is accurate and completed on time.
* Bringing promotional activities and company initiatives to life.
* Carrying out procedures accurately to protect profit and ensure safe and legal trading.
* Completing corporate and departmental training and keeping up to date with legal and professional developments in pharmacy.
Qualifications
* Qualifications gained from working in a Pharmacy environment.
* A desire to train and develop into the Pharmacy field.
