Job title: Lead Regional EHS Manager - EMEA

Reports to: Sr. Global Manager – EHS

Location: EMEA (remote in the UK or Ireland)


Key Areas of the Role


Purpose

As the Lead Regional EHS Manager, you will lead the regional EHS program and team across Securitas’ datacenter physical security operations. You’ll be responsible for creating and managing systems, policies, training, and cultural initiatives that protect people and reduce risks. This role oversees a geographically distributed team of EHS professionals and acts as the primary liaison with internal and external stakeholders, including client EHS leadership.

This high-impact, highly collaborative position is ideal for a senior leader experienced in multi-country EHS operations, risk prevention, safety culture transformation, and people management.


Responsibilities

Responsibilities

* You will support the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of EHS initiatives, including conducting injury investigations and risk assessment of new and existing datacenters. This role also involves administrative functions such as policy governance, training co-consultation, and audit coordination on operations' corrective actions.
* You will lead the strategic development and execution of a regional EHS program that supports datacenter physical security operations.
* You will lead and oversee a small team of skilled EHS professionals, providing strategic direction, coaching, and performance management to ensure consistent implementation of EHS programs across the EMEA region
* You will be accountable for ensuring compliance with datacenter safety policies, regulatory requirements, while actively promoting and reinforcing a strong, proactive safety culture across security operations.
* Demonstrate understanding and engagement with the Securitas Core Values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness, whilst showing a natural ability to recognise risk within the workplace and consider safety as a priority, complying with relevant policies, procedures and training as provided by the Company.


Competencies

* Good computer skills required with the use of various accounting databases and other financial tools. Must be a super user of the Microsoft family of products (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote). PowerBI experience preferred.
* Precise and high attention to detail
* Obsessed with accuracy, able to identify errors quickly.
* Expert in budgeting and forecasting; financial analysis, and strategic planning.
* Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with a wide variety of people including colleagues, clients, and representatives of other agencies.
* Thorough understanding of standard office procedures and practices.
* Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic or schedule form.
* Ability to write reports and correspondence in a clear and concise manner.
* Expert communicator who can clearly articulate complex financial issues to non-financial managers.
* Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with emotional or confrontational circumstances.
* Ability to leverage expertise of cross functional shared service teams to achieve desired outcome.
* Robust customer service and results orientation.
* Excellent planning, organization, and project coordination skills.


Person Specification


Essential

* Must be at least 18 years of age.
* Reliable means of communication.
* Reliable means of transportation (public or private).
* Ability to speak, read, and write English.
* Must have a high school diploma, secondary education equivalent, or GED.
* Willingness to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screening and background investigation.
* Must have the right to work in the UK.
* Have a current passport or be able to obtain one.
* Able to travel (international or domestic, as required) approximately 15% of the time or more, occasionally with limited notice.
* You will have 5-7 years of progressive experience leading EHS programs, with a strong background in multi-country safety program development and compliance.
* You should have strong leadership of regionally distributed teams and strategic program management.
* You must be comfortable presenting to large audiences of senior leaders and be a skilled communicator.
* This position involves travel (30-50% of the time), so a passion for travel (and a valid passport) and the flexibility to accommodate domestic and international trips are a must.
* You’ll also need to be comfortable with the need to work evening or weekend hours when a safety incident or other emergency occurs.
* Have a five-year checkable employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment, or full and part-time education during that period.
