Job Title: Lecturer in Fabrication and Welding

GI Group are now seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Fabrication and Welding to our client based in Rotherham. The Lecturer in Fabrication and Welding will deliver courses up to Level 3 in Fabrication and Welding and influence the next generation of Fabricators and Welders.
Main Duties of the Lecturer in Fabrication and Welding:
* They will undertake all necessary planning, preparation and assessment to ensure excellent teaching and learning occurs.
* Prepare students for higher levels of study (including Higher Education) and vitally for the world of work, developing specific vocational work and employability skills through the curriculum, and by using external/internal links.
* As well as teaching, Lecturers play an important role in providing pre and on-course guidance that supports learners through to successful outcomes. Take overall responsibility of the academic and pastoral care of a group or groups, which will include the arrangement of support requirements for students in communication with your Curriculum Team Leader / Curriculum Leader and Progress Tutor.
Experience of teaching/training in relevant area
* Vocational qualification at level 3 or above (In Fabrication and Welding)
* Appropriate level teaching qualification
* Ability to deliver to students at all levels and abilities and to use flexible and innovative methods of delivery
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people receiving education and training
