Job Description
The Interim Head of HR responsibilities will include:
3. People Strategy - initiate a comprehensive people strategy aligned with organisational goals and values. Acting as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team on all HR organisational development matters while leading OD, change management, workforce planning and transformation initiatives.
4. Policies and Processes - Develop, review and implement HR policies and procedures ensuring they are up to date, legally compliant, and reflect best practice
5. Performance Management - Design and embed performance management frameworks that drive accountability and development
6. Oversee all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, performance management,employee relations, and offboarding.
7. Act as a senior within the team supporting the HR Advisor who handles the transactional HR elements.
8. Adhoc HR duties as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Head of HR should have the following:
9. A strong background in human resources at a senior level (Head of, Consultant etc)
10. Proven experience in leading HR and OD strategies and operations.
11. Experience managing complex employee relations cases.
12. Demonstrable experience leading organisational change and transformation programs
13. Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
14. Ideally experienced within not-for-profit/Housing industries
15. Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.
16. The ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
17. A commitment to supporting a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture.
What's on Offer
The successful Interim Head of HR will receive:
18. A 3 month contract payable either day rate via Umbrella or on a fixed-term contract salary basis
19. Day rate option of £350- £450
20. FTC salary of up to £70,000 depending on experience
21. Hybrid working set up - 3 days on site 2 days from home
