Venari Legal is delighted to be recruiting for our esteemed client, who is seeking to hire a Senior In-House Solicitor to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced lawyer to become a Managing Lawyer, working with one of the UK's most iconic brands in innovative ways.
The role involves managing the client's commercial contracts and developing a long-term partnership. The work encompasses commercial contracts, technology and outsourcing agreements, third-party supplier arrangements, and other operational contracts, offering a varied and engaging workload. The successful candidate will supervise a team of lawyers and paralegals, collaborate directly with business partners, and contribute to service development.
The client has established a dedicated legal team to support this work, functioning alongside the in-house legal department. This position is ideal for experienced lawyers eager to join and extend a client's in-house legal team, with responsibilities including:
* Managing and supervising a team of lawyers and paralegals;
* Innovating legal service delivery models;
* Driving legal process efficiencies;
* Working closely with the client’s in-house legal team to deepen understanding and collaboration.
We seek a senior lawyer with supervisory experience, expertise in general commercial contracts, media, technology/outsourcing, and intellectual property. This role offers excellent training, career development, and the chance to work with a leading UK team and a dynamic client.
Responsibilities
Leading a team to handle all commercial contract needs, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and advising on contracts. You will support your team in taking ownership of contracts through innovative, technology-driven approaches. Collaboration with the client’s in-house legal team and maintaining high-quality client service are essential.
