We are currently hiring a Director Client Intelligence - Equities at GCB3 level in London.
This role provides COO's and other leadership positions with dedicated, forward-thinking, and strategic ad hoc and operational management support. Responsibilities include leading or owning business activities, supporting leadership and business heads with BAU & non-BAU activities, cyclical work such as Annual Reporting, and short-term initiatives. The role is part of BAU teams and reports to a Global, Regional, Country, or Business Head, with potential direct reports.
The key tasks include:
1. Overseeing or leading the execution of business initiatives and activities supporting business area goals (change implementation projects are out of scope).
2. Appropriate management of the COO's regulatory and legal responsibilities, or those of the leaders they support.
3. Leading business planning activities, including financial, technological, and resource planning.
4. Informing and influencing leadership decision-making through management information, business performance data, analytics, forums, stakeholder feedback, and HSBC strategy.
5. Representing the business area in forums and committees.
6. Creating, implementing, and monitoring internal governance activities.
7. Investigating and resolving issues adversely affecting business unit performance.
8. Working with external service providers to manage, evaluate, and ensure performance and adherence to service level agreements.
Requirements
* Strong experience within the Equities business.
* High-level experience within Client Intelligence.
* Previous experience operating at the director level within client intelligence in the equity space.
* Product knowledge of HSBC's Equities business.
* Existing relationships within trading management.
* Existing relationships with Equities clients.
