Role description
Within our Audit practice, we’re open to supporting the up-skilling and re-integration of returners to our business. The Assistant Audit Manager will work within the Commercial audit service line, helping clients achieve quality, integrity and progress.
Responsibilities
* Become a trusted business advisor to our clients, with a focus on quality and reputation
* Project manage client work and oversee all aspects of audit fieldwork and completion
* Lead onsite audit teams, preparing and reviewing financial statements and updating management
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with your team and our clients, providing support to junior team members
* Constantly strive to push yourself, and the business, further, with support through every stage
Qualifications
* Professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA or CIPFA)
* Ability to lead audits of varying sizes
* Knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102 or equivalent
* An interest in our clients, with the ability to discuss business challenges and needs
* Extensive experience of using audit software and Microsoft packages
* Project management experience
* Interest in maintaining and developing technical knowledge
