About This Role
The Head of Training Standards (HoTS) manages global training delivery within the BAT/HAT network, overseeing Instructor and Examiner quality, capacity, and strategic planning in coordination with the Global Head of Training EASA for EASA, UK CAA, and other NAA’s compliant with FCL standards.
Responsibilities include audit support, strategic operations planning, supervision of training delivery, ensuring compliance with ATO approval, standards, customer contracts, and maintaining safety, compliance, and training quality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively plan and coordinate with Operations to meet global Instructor and Examiner qualifications demands.
* Represent and act on behalf of the Global Head of Training EASA/UK CAA.
* Support and lead ground school and flight simulation instructors, providing mentorship for EASA or UK CAA standards.
* Manage instructor performance issues collaboratively with Training Managers or Center Leaders.
* Ensure training adherence to manuals, SOPs, and syllabi through Training Managers and instructors.
* Promote a culture of compliance, safety, and SMS reporting.
* Partner with Sales to address client needs.
Ideal Candidate:
* EASA or ICAO license
* EASA instructor qualification 900(a) or (c)
* Management experience in multicultural, regional, or global settings
* Extensive flight training experience
* Business Aviation or training center background
* Preferred: SFI/SFE/TRI/TRE certification
