Based in Faversham, this hands-on role as an Apprentice Transport Planner will help you develop key skills while supporting the day-to-day operations of our fleet and delivery services. If you’re IT-savvy, eager to learn, and passionate about making a difference behind the scenes, then this is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience whilst studying towards an NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration.
About Your Role
* Provide administrative support to the Transport department
* Assist the Planning team in enhancing the efficiency of our drivers and Southern and London Home Counties fleets through effective planning strategies
* Support daily delivery operations for both internal and external fleets, ensuring customer service standards are consistently achieved
We're Looking For
* Proficient in IT systems and tools
* Familiarity with logistics and transportation operations (preferred but not required)
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Self-driven, disciplined, and proactive in approach
* Effective communicator, comfortable engaging at all levels both verbally and in writing
* Strong analytical thinking and confident decision-making abilities
