The Role:


Vigilant Security are looking for driven individuals to join our existing team on a full-time, permanent contract. This position may suit someone who has previous experience within the Security, Hospitality, Customer Service Industry, or anyone with the right attitude and personality looking to start a new career path.


The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team and be able to carry out specific instructions set by the client.



SIA training will be provided to individuals that don't currently hold a license.


The rate of pay is £12.50, with an annual respectable increase in April 2026.



Key Tasks /Experience Required:


Mobile Patrols, Lock ups and unlocks in line with client assignment instructions.

To undertake response to alarm activations on request from the communications centre.

Undertake site visit inspections in accordance with management instructions.

Proficient use of relevant communications equipment.

Ensuring all H&S policies are adhered to.

Assist staff and visitors to sites.

Ensuring that no un-authorised persons are permitted in prohibited areas.

Maintaining an accurate record of any incidents that occur.

In addition to these functions' employees are required to undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required.

Ensure the company vehicle is always road worthy (Daily Vehicle Checks).

Respond to all alarm activations in a timely manner.

Accurately report all findings from alarm activations.

Complete a full detailed handover at the end of each shift.

Complete schedules to record site visits.

Complete all required key registers and seal logs.

Inform line managers of any changes to details/job specifics/issues at site.



Schedule


1900hrs to 0700hrs (12hrs)

4 on 4 off Shift Pattern

Must be Flexible.





Skills/Experience Required



Full Clean driving licence (held for a minimum of 5 years)

Professional, flexible, enthusiastic, proactive, self-motivated team player.

Experience with Mobile and key Holding duties preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.

Consistently well presented in line with company/client standards.

Reliable and self-motivated with excellent time-management skill.

Flexible approach to work.

Clear, concise, and confident communication and administration skills.

IT literacy

Customer Care Awareness.
