About the Role
Remedy Tutors are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a home setting in Wiltshire.
This is a morning-only role mainly (3 hours per day), ideal for candidates looking for consistent, part-time work while making a meaningful difference.
The student is in year 7 currently, but working at a KS1 Level
What You'll Be Doing
* Provide targeted support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Assist in delivering engaging, structured learning activities
* Support children with:
o Autism (ASC)
o SEMH needs
o Learning difficulties
* Help manage behaviour and support emotional regulation
* Work closely with teachers and SEN staff
* Follow EHCP targets and individual support plans
Working Pattern
* Monday to Friday
* Morning hours mostly (approx. 3 hours per day)
* Based in a home setting in Wiltshire
What We're Looking For
Essential:
* Experience working with children with SEN
* Previous role as a Teaching Assistant, Support Worker, or similar
* Ideally a Teaching Assistant qualification
* 2 years experience in Teaching Assistants
* 2 years SEN Experience
* Patient, proactive, and adaptable approach
* Strong communication skills
