This flexible part time role, involves working with the Accountant and interacting with other team members, in a wide variety of tasks, predominately relating to weekly payroll, purchase ledger and sales ledger activities. Training will be provided.
SUMMARY OF ROLE
* Processing daily intake and dispatch figures, for management reports
* Process invoices through purchase ledger.
* Check supplier statements and resolve queries.
* Processing sales invoices.
* Control of petty cash and month end reconciliation
* Nominal journals for petty cash.
* Month end prepayment and accrual spreadsheets.
* Maintaining the cashbook on excel spreadsheet with daily reconciliation and recording monies received
* Sales ledger credit control
* Reconciling sales ledger and purchase ledger to cashbook on a weekly and monthly basis.
* Processing payroll, payroll reports, associated filing and RTI submission each week.
* Maintain holiday and absence records.
* Processing credit card payments
* Providing assistance and holiday cover for order processing and dispatch activities, if required
* Monthly reports as required.
* Working within the guidelines of the Company Handbook and policies and procedures.
* Working within the Health & Safety and Welfare and Quality Systems and Procedures and undertaking housekeeping on a regular basis.
* Any other Ad hoc task as reasonably expected of an Accounts Assistant.
