About the role
In this exciting role, you'll be at the heart of generating new business across some of the UK’s most exciting sectors – from public and private to channel markets. You'll connect with key decision-makers, use innovative marketing campaigns, and leverage tools to unlock new sales opportunities.
As a JBDE, you'll gain hands-on experience with outbound and inbound engagement through our comprehensive 12-month in-house program, focusing on securing high-value appointments that fuel long-term growth for both the company and your career. What will you be doing?
* Identify leads, complete initial qualification, and hand them over to an Account Manager to progress through the sales cycle.
* Engage with account managers on qualified opportunities and book meetings where applicable.
* Utilise multiple outbound channels (telephone, email, LinkedIn) and inbound leads to create opportunities, build relationships, and secure meetings with prospects.
* Leverage Node4’s marketing assets and campaigns to generate qualified leads.
* Build rapport and trust with decision-makers, establishing Node4 as a key technology partner. Tailor your approach to different vertical markets.
* Manage your pipeline effectively, ensuring timely follow-up on leads and opportunities.
* Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align strategies and maximise efforts.
* Maintain accurate records in the CRM system, tracking all interactions and opportunities.
* Work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage a pipeline without constant supervision.
* Communicate effectively, tailoring messages to stakeholders and sectors.
* Be target-driven and results-focused, thriving in a KPI-driven environment.
What will you bring?
* Proven experience in business development or sales, especially in generating appointments and leads within B2B markets. IT or tech sector experience is a plus.
* Strong communication skills across channels like phone, email, and LinkedIn.
* Ability to work independently and manage a lead pipeline.
* Experience with CRM systems and sales tools, with a quick learner mindset.
* Results-oriented with a collaborative approach to team efforts.
* Problem-solving skills and resilience in facing challenges or rejection.
