About the Role
As a Class 1 Driver, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding service to our customers across the UK. In this position, you will:
1. Take responsibility for nationwide collections and deliveries, operating a curtain-sided trailer with professionalism and care.
2. Operate predominantly with refrigerated box trailers to ensure safe and efficient transport of temperature-controlled goods.
3. Ensure every load is safely secured, using ratchet straps and carrying out some manual handling to maintain the highest safety standards.
4. Use a handheld PDA to complete all delivery documentation accurately and efficiently, keeping the process smooth and streamlined.
5. Maintain regular communication with our transport team, providing updates on progress to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded.
