About the Role

If you are passionate about supporting young people to achieve their potential in a caring, inclusive setting, we would love to hear from you.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play an essential role in supporting pupils’ academic learning, emotional wellbeing, and social development, often helping them achieve things they once thought were beyond reach.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, values inclusive education, and is committed to helping young people build confidence, independence, and resilience.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will include:

* Providing one-to-one and small group support for pupils with additional and complex needs, helping them remain engaged, safe, and valued.
* Supporting the planning and delivery of creative, engaging learning activities alongside teaching staff to promote progress and curiosity.
* Encouraging pupils’ emotional, social, and physical development through patience, understanding, and positive behaviour support.
* Taking part in a range of classroom-based and outdoor learning activities, from structured lessons to practical and creative experiences.
* Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure a consistent, nurturing environment where every pupil can thrive.

No two days are ever the same. With the support of our experienced and compassionate team, you will always feel encouraged, guided, and valued in your role.

About you

We are looking for someone who is:

* Caring, flexible, and enthusiastic
* A supportive team player
* Confident working both indoors and outdoors
* Passionate about helping children learn, grow, and succeed

Essential Qualifications

* GCSEs in English and Maths (Grades A–C or 4 and above)
