Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Stoke-On-Trent, focused on supporting children and young people in achieving their full potential. Depending on the position, day-to-day responsibilities may include providing tailored care and guidance, promoting safety and well-being, assisting with independent living skills, implementing care plans or therapeutic interventions, maintaining accurate records, and working collaboratively with colleagues to meet the needs of individuals. Team members contribute to creating an inclusive, nurturing environment that fosters personal growth and resilience.
Qualifications
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills
* Experience with child safeguarding practices and fostering safety
* Ability to plan and implement personalised care strategies
* Teamwork, collaboration, and organizational skills
* Empathy, patience, and the ability to support individuals with complex needs
* Relevant certifications or training in child care, social work, or related fields are an advantage
* Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
* Flexibility to work shifts, as the role will include evening, weekend, or holiday hours
