Centre Manager - Blackburn
1. Salary: up to £50,000 basic (up to £65,000 OTE)
2. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00–17:00 or 9:00–18:00 + 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:00–13:00
We are working with a well-established trade parts operation within the automotive sector, seeking an experienced and driven Centre Manager to lead a busy site of 30 staff. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven leader who thrives in a fast-paced B2B environment and is passionate about team development, operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities for the Centre Manager:
3. Lead and inspire a team of approx. 30 to achieve business goals and performance targets.
4. Translate centre-wide sales targets into departmental objectives, with realistic but ambitious KPIs.
5. Build and maintain a customer-centric culture focused on satisfaction and service excellence.
6. Create and manage Personal Development Plans for team members and provide ongoing coaching.
7. Devise and implement manpower and succession plans for long-term operational strength.
8. Monitor and analyse performance data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
9. Work within the defined sales strategy to maximise revenue and grow market share.
10. Ensure compliance with financial, legal, ethical and warranty-related standards.
11. Oversee stock control, security and day-to-day operations of the site.
12. Maintain effective communication and collaboration with all stakeholders.
Requirements for the Centre Manager:
13. Proven experience in a management role, ideally within the automotive or trade parts sector.
14. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive performance.
15. Commercially minded with a strong focus on results and customer service.
16. Strategic thinker with experience in planning and executing business development strategies.
17. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building strong relationships at all levels.
18. Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident with data analysis and reporting tools.
19. Comfortable working to clearly defined processes and compliance frameworks.
