Purpose of the Job Our Account Managers are responsible for managing and delivering solutions for our clients through close work with internal teams and local partners. Our client is a global brand within the Life Sciences sector. We deliver their website content aimed at Doctors and Nurses (healthcare professionals - HCPs) and patients. Most of our work is digital based and we originate and design content with scientific content. You'll need experience of working with clients and delivering ongoing solutions to resolve their challenges - taking ownership of various relationships and developing them further. We are looking for an experienced and passionate account handler with strong experience within a medical communications agency, with an understanding of ABPI. Given the client growth, an interest in digital marketing is a must have requirement. This role operates on a blended basis between the local HH Global office and home as necessary. Key Responsibilities Take briefs from the client including full specification details and deadline dates and manage project delivery from start to finish, suggesting alternative options and innovation where possible - own the process Provide technical input and advice on projects as required, briefing suppliers on precise client requirements and delivering exceptional levels of customer service Monitor projects to ensure they are delivered to specification and on time while implementing new methods and procedures as required - collaborate across multiple teams and utilize HH Global’s full-service offering Deliver contractual requirements, prepare presentations and complete necessary account administration and reporting while keeping accurate records Agree and manage budgets and PLs, ensuring profit is maximized through analysis of performance Deliver services to meet and exceed contracted SLAs while ensuring compliance with Regulatory and Company policies Knowledge, Skills Experience Advanced client service management experience, including time spent working on developing and maintaining client relationships and across multiple vendors Healthcare Creative agency background, MedEd or MedComms Sound understanding of science and medicine, the healthcare environment and the pharmaceutical industry Digitally savvy and a willingness to find new and exciting ways to communicate using healthcare/pharmaceutical insight to help shape the clients’ brands strategic or tactical plans Understand and have the ability, to apply the ABPI code of practice where required Has built client success - delivered account planning, client service plans, KPIs, budgeting, forecasting, strategic account leadership and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. A proven track record of operational management for client services departments, PL / budget management and account level financial reporting Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation), with clarity of expression and the ability to present to and influence various stakeholder groups at all levels of seniority Essential Criteria Healthcare Creative agency background, MedEd or MedComms Sound understanding of science and medicine, the healthcare environment and the pharmaceutical industry Based in London or Basingstoke LI-El1 LI-Hybrid
