We are now looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior QC Coordinator to join our Aberdeen team. Role Overview The Senior QC Coordinator will be responsible for the sourcing, selection, placement and ongoing management of Fulkrum QC personnel, ensuring that client requirements are met to a high standard and that assignments are delivered efficiently, commercially and in line with Fulkrum’s quality expectations. This role requires strong coordination experience, excellent client and candidate management skills, and a good understanding of QA/QC activities within the onshore and offshore oil and gas sector. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, candidates, internal teams and the accounts function to ensure smooth delivery of services, timely documentation, effective invoicing and strong operational performance. The role also supports Fulkrum’s quality processes, including ensuring that, where applicable, inspection activities are carried out in line with ISO/IEC 17020:2012 requirements and Fulkrum’s documented procedures. Key Responsibilities The Senior QC Coordinator will be responsible for: Handling client requests for QA/QC, engineering, project support, site-based and office-based personnel. Sourcing suitable candidates to match client requirements and preparing them for interviews or assignments where required. Liaising with clients on candidate proposals, interviews, selection and placement. Issuing successful candidates with relevant assignment information, including obligations, responsibilities and deliverables. Allocating task-related documents such as ITPs, drawings, specifications, client templates and other project documentation. Receiving, screening and submitting inspection reports and site reports to clients. Ensuring reports, certificates and relevant assignment documentation are stored securely and are easily retrievable. Liaising with candidates in relation to contractual terms, performance, reporting, timekeeping and assignment expectations. Managing candidate relationships through regular care calls during assignments. Handling client queries or complaints professionally and escalating where required. Providing candidate performance updates to management when requested. Working closely with the accounts team to ensure that timesheets, purchase orders and other required documentation are submitted on time to support accurate and efficient invoicing. Maintaining commercial awareness when negotiating placements with candidates and clients. Identifying and supporting new business opportunities with existing and potential clients. Ensuring client service level agreements are met and Fulkrum KPIs are achieved. Supporting internal audits, management review inputs and continuous improvement activities relating to inspection outcomes and operational processes. Alerting management to any conflict-of-interest situations or undue pressures that may compromise impartiality or independence. Providing site-specific HSE instructions to inspectors before mobilisation and ensuring any HSE incidents are reported appropriately. About You We are looking for someone who has strong coordination experience, excellent communication skills and the ability to work confidently in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. The successful candidate will bring: Previous experience in a QC Coordination, inspection coordination, recruitment coordination or similar role within the oil and gas, energy or engineering sector. Strong knowledge of onshore and offshore oil and gas project environments. Good understanding of QA/QC processes and inspection activities. Experience managing client and candidate relationships effectively. Strong commercial awareness and confidence when discussing placements, rates and client requirements. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time. The ability to work well under pressure and respond positively in high-tempo situations. Strong attention to detail, particularly when reviewing documentation, reports and assignment information. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Full working knowledge of Microsoft Office. The ability to work independently and as part of a wider team. Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17020:2012 would be advantageous. Why Join Fulkrum?
