Responsibilities
* Assist in rotary drilling and window sample drilling operations
* Assist in the setup and breakdown of drilling equipment at job sites
* Assist with pre drilling safety checks and equipment inspections
* Assist with ensuring all drilling operations comply with health and safety regulations
* Ensure drilling sites are clean and safe during and after operations
* Assist in the collection, labelling and logging of soil and rock samples
* Document and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards
* Oversee the maintenance, repairs and inventory of department plant, equipment and tools
* Adhere to best working practices and industry standards, with training and guidance provided
* Follow working instructions as specified by engineers, directors, lead drillers and supervisors
* Communicate effectively with internal parties to ensure smooth operations
* Perform additional tasks as reasonably expected within your level of capability to meet the company's evolving needs
* Full UK driving license
* Willingness to attend and pass internal and industry recognised external training courses. These may include but are not limited to, CSCS, CAT, First Aid, Manual Handling, Plant Operations, Asbestos Awareness

* Experience preferred but not essential as full training will be given
