Job Summary
United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust – Louth – Band 2 Clinical Imaging Assistant Full Time (37.5 hours per week).
The Trust provides acute services across Lincolnshire. We require a Clinical Imaging Assistant to work alongside MRI Radiographers, Radiologists and support staff to deliver high‑quality MR imaging on a 1.5 Tesla scanner. The role is diverse, safety‑critical and demands teamwork within a technically challenging environment. The MRI service operates 07:20 to 20:30 daily, seven days a week across multiple sites; flexibility is essential.
Responsibilities
The post holder will support the radiographers to obtain high‑quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging. This will entail assisting and positioning patients on the scanner and using advanced clinical equipment under supervision. You will contribute to workload organisation, liaise with the multidisciplinary team and receive cannulation training to ensure smooth patient flow.

Qualifications – Essential
* GCSE English at grade C or above (or equivalent)
Qualifications – Desirable
* NVQ Care level II
* NVQ Customer Service level II
* First Aid certificate
* Basic life support
Skills – Essential
* Communication skills
* Effective time management
* Computer/IT skills
* Awareness and Knowledge of the dignity in care agenda.
* Ability to evidence/demonstrate key values and behaviours in line with the Trust framework

* Administration experience
Experience – Essential
* Working experience in a hospital environment or health care environment
Experience – Desirable
* Multi‑disciplinary team experience of direct patient care within the last two years
* Experience within a Radiology Department
