Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Newcastle-under-Lyme & Whitchurch | Salary: Competitive + Benefits
The Job:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a progressive feed production business operating across multiple UK sites. This is a hands-on role involving both planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of animal feed processing machinery, with a focus on maximising operational uptime.
This is a full-time, permanent position reporting to the Engineering Manager, covering two sites in Newcastle-under-Lyme and Whitchurch.
Key Responsibilities:
* Performing planned preventative maintenance and attending to reactive breakdowns on production machinery
* Supporting capital expenditure and continuous improvement projects
* Collaborating with production teams to uphold safety, quality, and efficiency standards
* Maintaining 5S standards within engineering work areas
* Using CMMS systems to manage maintenance records and tasks
Shift Pattern:
* Monday to Friday
* Rotating weekly shift pattern:
* Week 1: 6:00am – 2:00pm
* Week 2: 8:00am – 4:00pm / 5:00pm
* Week 3: 2:00pm – 10:00pm

The Candidate:
* Recognised apprenticeship or qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering
* Experience with electrical energy technology, PLC & SCADA systems
* Knowledge of CMMS systems and proficiency in Word and Excel
* Counter-balance FLT licence advantageous
* Full UK driving licence essential
* Willingness to travel between sites, work rotating shifts, and on-call duties
