Base Location: Stonehouse
Hours: 17.5 hours per week (2.5 days per week)
Working Pattern:
* Wednesday: 9am - 12:30pm
* Thursday & Friday: 9am - 5pm
Salary: £37,000 prorated

Your Role
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Social Worker who is enthusiastic and committed to making a real impact. You will work collaboratively with foster parents, promoting meaningful supervision of placements. This role is both demanding and rewarding, encompassing quality assurance and training for foster parents.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide direct support to foster parents, maintaining a manageable caseload for effective supervision.
* Conduct regular supervision sessions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
* Collaborate with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate participation in assessments, planning, and decision-making related to safeguarding and child protection.
What We’re Looking For
* A Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
* Previous experience in children and families social work.
* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and publications related to children's services.
* Good IT skills and the ability to adapt to flexible working patterns and travel.
* A full driving license and access to your own vehicle.
