As the Industrial Assembly Engineer, you will be responsible for applying your technical expertise and project management skills to drive the research, development, and delivery of cutting-edge technology projects.
Your focus will be on enhancing the company's drilling and fastening equipment and processes for their state-of-the-art aircraft wing structures.Key Responsibilities:* Deploy and support Drilling & Fastening equipment (Semi-Automated and manual)* Define new equipment and develop innovative drilling and fastening assembly processes* Project manage and provide technical support for existing machinery* Implement continuous improvement projects into the wing manufacturing processes* Interface with internal customers, support functions, and external suppliersQualifications and Skills:* Strong technical background in shop floor processes, preferably in drilling and/or fastening* Good understanding of the wing build process* Proficient in Google office-based applications (Sheets, Slides, Gmail, etc.)* Analytical and problem-solving skills* Well-organised, rigorous, and attentive to detailThis position offers an hourly rate of:up to £27.68 per hour PAYE + 30% upliftup to £37.02 per hour Umbrella + 30% upliftIf you are interested in this position please apply with an updated CV.Guidant, Carbon60, Lorien & SRG - The Impellam Group Portfolio are acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.TPBN1_UKTJ
