Mechanical Fitter Job Details and Benefits;
* £28,054.26 - £30,632.94 per annum
* Hours are 42.75 p/week to be worked flexibly (5.55am-3pm OR 6.55-4pm Mon-Thurs and 5.55am-2.50pm OR (phone number removed)pm Friday’s) – some later finishes may occur due to breakdowns, but this is not routine. Permanent
* 28 days holiday, rising to 31 after 1 full years service inclusive of bank holidays
* PPE is provided and laundered through an external company
Mechanical Fitter Job Duties;
* Maintenance, refurbishment, installation and fabrication of existing plant, machinery and equipment
* Servicing, repairs and operational checks on all machinery
* Fabrication of steel or other composite items
* Fabrication of moulds
* Using various hand tools to complete tasks
* Machinery includes but not limited to; FLT’s, power tools, extruded concrete machines, saws, strippers, moulds, overhead cranes, steel press, riveters, plate tables, conveyors, mixing plant, crushing plant
* Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment
* Adhering to strict Health & Safety rules and regulations
Mechanical Fitter Person Specification;
* Proven engineering manufacturing experience is an advantage however mechanically minded candidates maybe considered depending on experience
* Good mechanical skills
* Happy to work in a loud dusty and oily environment
* Ability to work with minimal supervision on occasions
