About your role
As an HR Business Partner at Swap, you will act as a strategic partner to business leaders and teams across the organisation. You will ensure that our people strategy aligns with our business goals, foster a high-impact and inclusive culture, and provide expert HR support across the employee lifecycle. This role requires experience supporting a growing, international workforce across the UK and the Netherlands.
Strategic Partnership
* Partner with senior leadership to understand business goals and translate them into impactful people initiatives
* Coach and support managers on performance, development, organisational change, and employee relations
Talent & Capability
* Support end-to-end hiring across your business areas, from role design through to onboarding
Performance & Organisation
* Drive performance management processes and support organisational design and workforce planning
Culture, Engagement & ER
* Lead on engagement and retention initiatives aligned to company values
* Manage employee relations matters and act as a trusted escalation point
Data & Change
* Use HR data and insights to inform decisions and improve outcomes
* Support organisational change as we scale across teams and geographies
What we are looking for
* 4 - 7 years’ experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist
* Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge senior leaders
* Experience working across the full employee lifecycle in a high-growth SaaS or tech environment
* Solid knowledge of UK employment law, with exposure to Dutch employment practices
* Comfortable operating in fast-paced, scaling environments, bringing structure and clarity where needed
* Hands-on and adaptable, able to balance strategic thinking with day-to-day execution
* Experience in performance management, organisational design, and change initiatives
* Data-driven mindset with the ability to turn insights into action
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative, relationship-led approach
* Exposure to international teams (EMEA, US, APAC) is a plus
* CIPD Level 5/7 (or equivalent) preferred
