This well established supplier has an immediate opportunity for an exceptional individual who is passionate about trend led fashion, to join their friendly and bustling account management team.
They are working with some major accounts in the UK, as well as also launching their own brand in the Middle East.
They show no sign of slowing down, and this role is an additional head into their team.
The role will be about managing exisiting relationships with their extensive customer base, as well as identifying ways of growing the product offering and sales potential.
Account Manager – The Role
* This role requires you to have a sound knowledge and understanding of apparel
* Manage Critical Path to ensure agreed delivery dates are maintained
* Launch and put into work new samples with the Design Team
* Source and Pre-Book Sampling and Bulk Cloth and Trims
* Provide approval comments on Bulk Cloth and Trims
* Arrange Bulk Test Reports with the mills and vendors
* Load, manage and track PO’s on customers portal, amending where necessary
* Help to manage High Street accounts and build strong relationships with retailer customers & suppliers
* Provide admin support to Sales Director whom you will report directly into
Account Manager – The Candidate
* Ideally you will already be an Account Manager or customer facing Wholesale Merchandiser at a clothing manufacturer/ brand looking for that next career step
* Experience of working with an online retailer is preferred
* Excellent communication skills and good eye for detail
* Hold the ability to identify and mitigate issues early on in the process to avoid delivery delays
* Computer literate to a high standard on Word, Outlook and Excel.
* Must be well organised and methodical and enjoy being a part of a fun yet busy team.
