Planner (Primavera P6) – Water Infrastructure Projects
Location: Remote (ideally based between Oxfordshire and Brighton)
Contract: 6-Month Initial Term (strong potential for extension)
Day Rate: £435–£450 per day (Outside IR35)

We are currently hiring an experienced Planner (Primavera P6) to support a major water infrastructure programme in the South of England.
This role is ideal for a technically skilled planner with a background in water, utilities, or infrastructure projects. You’ll be responsible for managing detailed project schedules, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring all planning deliverables are achieved to the highest standards.
The position offers remote working, with one day per week travel required for team meetings, making it ideal for professionals based anywhere between Oxfordshire and Brighton.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, manage, and maintain detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6.
* Interface with design, commercial, and delivery teams to align programme objectives.
* Conduct schedule risk analysis and implement mitigation strategies.
* Prepare and present progress and performance reports.
* Support delay analysis, critical path reviews, and recovery planning.
* Ensure planning and reporting comply with framework and client requirements.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in project planning within the water or utilities sector (essential).
* Advanced Primavera P6 user.
* Strong understanding of NEC contracts and infrastructure delivery processes.
* Excellent analytical and communication skills.
* Must have Right to Work in the UK.
Package:
Rate: £435–£450 per day (Outside IR35)
Working Model: Remote with 1 day per week in office (flexible across the South East)
Duration: 6 months initially (potential for long-term extension)
